Beautiful hand made candles produced by residents of the Shekel community. SHEKEL was founded to develop and operate programs and services to enable children and adults with physical, mental and mental disabilities to live in the community rather than in institutions. Committed to the belief that everyone has the right to live in the community, SHEKEL operates a continuum of services for people from all sectors of Israeli society designed to develop their highest potential and live with dignity, self-esteem and self determination as contributing members of society.
